This Project evolved from the African American Ambassadors Groups "Matter of Truth" report which provided the framework for the Providence Municiple Reparations Commission's recommendations on Truth, Reconciliation, and Reparations for Black, Indigenous People, and other People of Color. The project looked for visual reminders of past and current inequity. The repetition of history is mimiced in the repeating patterns of the city and of pattern.
